An ideal aesthetic match for the Marantz PM6005 integrated amplifier also available, Marantz CD6004 will handle a majority of standard disc formats. The disc metadata is tastefully displayed on the front screen, so it's easy to see the details of the track currently spinning. The front display can also be dimmed or turned off to reduce additional noise affecting the signal chain.
With a high quality Cirrus Logic 24bit/192kHz CS4398 DAC borrowed from Marantz more premium offerings, and proprietary HDAM-SA2 circuitry the unit is sweet and toneful, while providing enough resolution to scrape detail out of audiophile recordings. A separated rectifier circuit for analogue and digital circuitry provides an additional clarity not seen on many disc players at this price.
An onboard headphone amplifier with volume control accessible on the front panel, allows you to easily switch to your favourite set of cans when continuing listening sessions into the night.
