Gryphon Colosseum Stereo Amplifier - Consignment

The Gryphon Colosseum Stereo Power Amplifier is a statement piece in every sense, delivering 160 watts into 8 ohms per channel of class A power in a true dual-mono configuration. Designed by Flemming E. Rasmussen and built in Denmark, the Colosseum embodies Gryphon’s “no compromise” philosophy. 

Colosseum features zero global negative feedback, 48 high-current bipolar output transistors, and a massive 340,000 µF capacitor bank, ensuring effortless dynamics. Balanced circuitry throughout, separate power supplies for analogue and digital sections, DC servo coupling, and premium internal silver wiring all contribute to its jet black background and holographic realism, while proprietary Green Bias technology allows intelligent bias management without sacrificing it's Class A sound. 

Colosseum is also a serious design statement, its slim tower form occupies minimal floor space, with meticulously crafted curved side panels and well finished heat sinks.
