AudioQuest Yosemite Analog Interconnect

Connect a wide array of audio electronics with the AudioQuest Yosemite analog interconnect, thoughtfully crafted for exceptional flexibility and versatility. The Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors reduce distortion, while the FEP Air-Tube insulation maintains dynamic contrast. Additionally, the Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation system effectively eliminates high-frequency noise, delivering music that is clearer, cleaner, and more naturally beautiful.

Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors
Solid conductors eliminate electrical and magnetic strand interaction. PSC+ Solid Copper reduces distortion caused by grain boundaries and optimizes linear RF Noise Dissipation.

Carbon-Based 3-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Achieving 100% shield coverage is simple, but preventing captured Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) from modulating the equipment’s ground requires AQ’s Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). Unlike traditional systems that drain noise/RF energy to ground (causing signal distortion), NDS’s alternating metal and carbon-loaded synthetic layers absorb and reflect most RF energy before it reaches the grounded shield layer.

72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS)
All conductor insulation functions as a dielectric, impacting signal integrity. When the dielectric is unbiased, it absorbs and releases energy non-linearly, leading to phase shift across different frequencies. DBS ensures stable dielectric properties by preventing phase distortion. The RF Trap developed for AudioQuest's Niagara power products stops radio-frequency noise from entering signal conductors from the DBS field elements. (DBS, US Pat #s 7,126,055 & 7,872,195 B1)

FEP Air-Tube Insulation
Positive conductors maintain minimal contact between metal and FEP insulation, which has an excellent dielectric constant and reduces signal interference. Negative conductors use lossy insulation—lacking both air and FEP—to maximize the effectiveness of their role in the connection.

Asymmetrical Double-Balanced Geometry
Designed for single-ended applications, this geometry lowers impedance on the ground for richer and more dynamic audio. Unlike many designs that share paths for ground and shield, Double-Balanced Geometry separates them for improved clarity and quieter performance.

Cold-Welded, Direct-Silver Plated Pure Red Copper Terminations
Optimized for sound, Direct-Silver Plating avoids using distortion-causing nickel, while the cold-weld process eliminates the need for sound-degrading solder.
