Overview
Designed and manufactured in Sheffield, England, the Chimera employs Wilson Benesch's proprietary Tactic drive units, using isotactic polypropylene diaphragms, and Semisphere tweeter in a 2.5 way arrangement.
The proprietary monocoque carbon fibre cabinet provides exceptional stiffness while minimising stored energy and cabinet-induced resonance.
The soundstage is wide and deep, with nice imaging and tight, controlled bass output. Despite the 88db rated efficiency, we found they do need a robust high current amplifier to really open up.
