REFERENCE Phono Interconnects are essential building blocks for a Connoisseur Level music system with a top-of-the-line phonograph set-up. RPH uses the same cable, connectors, and network housings as REFERENCE RCA Interconnect. Handcrafted in the USA, REFERENCE Phono has sturdy gold-plated connectors that transfer power effortlessly through heavy, precision wound OFHC stranding. Elegant carbon fiber composite (CFC) network modules allow electromagnetic fields to expand fully and freely. The thin and stiff-walled CFC network modules accommodate a greater mass of epoxy resin to reduce resonance and vibrations

Specifically designed for the delicate, low signal output of a phono cartridge, it effortlessly reveals a staggering level of low-level harmonic and spatial detail, the smooth continuity of analog dynamic range, the rich tonal quality of music, and transfers extended, well-defined bass energy.

REFERENCE Phono Interconnect is a significant performance upgrade compared to ULTRA Phono Interconnect. REFERENCE cables are the first products in the Transparent family to be custom calibrated for the specific electrical output characteristics of your components and phono cartridges. Additionally, the network components are more precisely matched to the cable’s inherent electrical properties and length. Transparent provides a custom DIN connector option fabricated to precise tonearm, turntable suspension, and phono preamp requirements. A sleek, contoured coupler creates a smooth transition between cable and termination. Transparent DIN couplers are offered with two methods of strain relief to keep the weight of the cable from affecting the performance of your turntable and tonearm system.

RPH is calibrated to the precise electrical characteristics of your phono cartridge and needs to be ideally configured for your tonearm-turntable combination and phono preamp. 

REFERENCE Phono Interconnects are upgradeable to XL, OPUS, or MAGNUM OPUS Phono Interconnects.

Warranty registration not only extends the Transparent Warranty to a limited lifetime warranty, but it also provides the original owner with RPH recalibrations at no charge in the event that a component or phono cartridge change requires network or configuration adjustments.

REFERENCE Phono Interconnects are upgradeable to XL level phono interconnects and above.
