The Proficient C626 is a great mid-priced ceiling speaker, blending the high output of a graphite woofer with the smooth, sweet sound of a silk-dome tweeter. High sensitivity and excellent power handling make the C626 a superb choice for practically any room in the house, but especially for rooms where you want the best sound.
Step up to great graphite sound
The C626 features one of Proficient's very best woofers, a 6½-inch model with a graphite-impregnated cone that’s stiffer than paper or polypropylene. You get clearer sound with lower distortion, all the way down to 45 Hz! A sweet-sounding, pivoting 1-inch silk-dome tweeter perfectly complements the graphite woofer’s refined sound. It’s the ideal ceiling speaker for situations that demand affordable high performance.
To make the C626 easy to drive for any amplifier, Proficient gave it a forgiving 8-ohm impedance. They also gave it a sensitivity of 91 dB, so you can run it at high volumes even with a low-powered amplifier. It uses the same quick, sturdy mounting system and cut-out template as their other 6½-inch models, too.
