Overview

Pass Labs XP-30 is a reference three-chassis dual-mono line preamplifier that offers Pass' signature clean sound. Each channel is housed in its own dedicated chassis to minimises crosstalk, while a third enclosure contains the power supply and control electronics. 

The analogue circuitry is fully balanced from input to output, employing discrete Class A gain stages with extremely short signal paths. High-input impedance and very low output impedance help match with a wide range of source components and power amplifiers.

The external power supply includes multiple stages of regulation to provide isolated, low-noise DC rails for each audio chassis.

Input switching and volume attenuation are relay-controlled, rather than using a traditional potentiometer.
