Overview

Clean and articulate, this first-generation Merging NADAC is derived directly from the company's professional Horus and Hapi converters, which are widely used in recording, mastering, and broadcast environments.

Roon-ready, the unit functions as a streamer but also includes facilities for AES/EBU, coaxial SPDIF and optical input. 

RAVENNA/AES67 Audio over Internet Protocol (AoIP) standards are used rather than UPnP and DLNA protocols for networked audio.

NADAC supports PCM (up to 24 bit/384kHz precision), DXD, and DSD 64, 128, and 256 natively, with no upsampling. 

A word clock input further allows integration into externally synchronised digital systems. 

Independent volume control for both the line outputs and integrated headphone amplifier provides considerable flexibility.
