Overview
The first Lumin transport to use their new CNC panel construction, all-in-one aluminium chassis design, U2 includes an integrated toroidal linear power supply along with an ultra-low-noise rectifier and linear regulator.
With 4 exceptionally low-phase-noise crystal clock oscillators ticking away under the hood, playback of files up to DSD512 and PCM768 is possible, along with the capability to up and down sample to DSD256.
For those rare fans of digital based volume attenuation, Lumin's unique Leedh Processing lossless digital volume control that eliminates rounding errors is available but also completely bypassable.
A new dedicated “Direct-Coupled” USB digital audio port offers upgraded USB output performance, along with the usual suspects Optical, Coaxial RCA, Coaxial BNC & AES/EBU.
Qobuz Connect, Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect make streaming services incredibly accessible, and Roon Ready certifications ensures smooth integration with a Roon server.
