The Ci250RRM-THX boasts a range of cutting-edge features including the 12th Generation Uni-Q® driver array enhanced with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), along with patent-pending Cavity Radiation Control and Low Diffraction LF Aperture. This coaxial three-way speaker redefines immersive sound, offering unparalleled sonic excellence ideal for large home theaters and living spaces.
Cavity Radiation Control (CRC) is the latest breakthrough from KEF's UK Engineering team, tackling midrange issues with its open-back midrange design featuring acoustically absorptive foam. By eliminating frequency response dips of up to 30dB, CRC sets a new standard for midrange acoustic realism among three-way coaxial speakers.
The Ci250RRM-THX also incorporates the Low Diffraction LF Aperture, optimizing housing design to reduce resonance and diffraction while preserving exceptional MF/HF performance and bass output.
Uni-Q® technology, renowned for its role in KEF's signature sound, takes center stage in the Ci250RRM-THX. The 12th generation Uni-Q driver array acts as a single point source, ensuring uniform sound dispersion for every listener in the room.
MAT™ represents a leap forward in acoustic innovation, with the Ci250RRM-THX being the first architectural speaker to benefit from this technology. The intricate Metamaterial Absorption Technology absorbs 99% of unwanted sound from the tweeter's rear, resulting in a crisp, natural treble performance.
