For the first time, KEF's renowned Uni-Q technology is available in an outdoor speaker range. The bespoke weatherproof 6.5-inch and 8-inch Uni-Q® driver arrays are optimised for open-air environments, ensuring weather resistance without compromising performance. The larger speaker drivers offer greater efficiency and reduced distortion, ensuring expansive coverage and consistent performance even at higher volumes. By positioning the tweeter precisely at the acoustic centre of the bass and midrange cone, Uni-Q® technology creates a single point source that delivers smooth, even sound dispersion. The result is a controlled, wide sound field that immerses everyone in high-fidelity sound, wherever they are in the outdoor space.

Engineered for year round durability, KEF's outdoor speakers are housed in rugged, robust
enclosures designed for long-lasting performance. Each speaker features an aluminium grille that shields the Uni-Q® driver from outdoor exposure, while the UV-resistant design ensures resilience against prolonged sunlight exposure. Withstanding temperatures from-25C to +70C and enduring over 500 hours of salt spray testing, BH6Q and BH8Q are built to thrive in extreme conditions and perform in even the most demanding outdoor environments. Certified to IP66, they are resistant to dust and water, delivering consistent acoustic excellence in the toughest weather.

Easy placement, seamless integration
A variety of mounting options ensures BH6Q and BH8Q can be seamlessly installed across
different outdoor environments. They can be securely positioned in landscaped areas using
ground stakes, or installed on hard surfaces such as patios, decks, or concrete areas using
hardscape mounts. Optional BMC6/BMC8 Mounting Columns elevate the speakers to optimal listening height, ensuring consistent coverage across wider areas.

For those seeking a fully integrated system, BH6Q and BH8Q can also be directly attached onto KEF's outdoor bollard subwoofers, combining deep bass performance with elegant design in a unified setup.
