Dela (Formerly Melco) C1 SPF+ Direct Attach Network Cable
To fully exploit the potential of SFP Network connectivity, the C1-D20 SFP+ Direct Attach Cable is designed to bypass some of the more commonly encountered limitations of network data transmission. Dela now offers a complete in-house designed solution for connectors, cable, and interface electronics – which treats the whole connectivity interface as a critical component in the audio chain.
The C1-D20 SFP+ Direct Attach Cable completely bypasses the need for the usual PHY interface, necessary with RJ45 connectors and long distance SFP Copper connections. This allows for data stored on your SPF compatible Dela to be accessed directly – with a commensurate decrease in data errors and loss – thus improving the quality of the overall signal. The results provide outstanding performance, not possible with any other connectivity today.
- Can be used with most audio hardware equipped with SFP ports such as Melco N1 & N5, Melco S10 / S100, Aurender, HiFi Rose, Linn Klimax DSM, Taiko Audio SGM Extreme / Extreme switch, SFORZATO DSP-Columba, DSP-Corvus, DST-Lepus.
- Flex mesh jacket that covers a PVC braid, ensuring that the cable is flexible and easy to route in a system while still being resistant to outside interference.
- Two metres long and designed to reflect the requirements of transmitting digital audio where stability and minimising errors are more important than absolute transmission rates.
