Daniel Hertz Maria 800 Amplifier
Daniel Hertz Maria 800 Amplifier
Daniel Hertz makes only one amplifier: Maria, the pinnacle of Mark Levinson's design expertise. The Maria 350 is a stereo (2-channel) model, while the Maria 800 is a 4-channel model with active crossovers and time alignment for bi-amplified speakers.
Maria is an all-in-one audio solution, replacing the DAC, preamplifier, power amplifier, headphone amplifier, and interconnect cables. It features fully programmable active crossovers and time alignment.
Maria - A Paradigm Shift in Audio Amplification
Personally designed by Mark Levinson, Maria sets a new sonic standard, reminiscent of the iconic Mark Levinson LNP-2 Preamplifier and Cello Audio Palette. It combines minimalist design with exceptional craftsmanship, akin to the finest watches and cameras.
As legendary audio journalist Bert Whyte remarked about Mark's work in 1972, Maria is, "monetary considerations aside... the premier choice."
Handmade in Venice, Italy, Maria boasts high performance with artisan materials and craftsmanship previously unseen in audio products.

The Maria 800 drives DH bi-amplified speakers M1, M4, and Chiara. Its active crossovers can be programmed to drive any bi-amplified speaker with full control of crossover points, slopes, and levels.
Maria includes a power cord (for the country of use), a USB cable, and a carrying case. When a Maria 350 is delivered with DH speakers, a 4m pair of cables is included. For the Maria 800, a 4m pair x 2 is included for bi-amplification.
Maria is named in honor of Mark Levinson’s mother, Maria Hertz Levinson, who in 1966 sold her cello to buy him the Italian double bass he plays today. Her love and sacrifice are forever commemorated in this exceptional amplifier
