The Progression Neo Stereo Amplifier brings the same new generation of circuit thinking and power supply architecture to a dual channel format, ideal for high performance two channel systems where space or rack integration favours a stereo chassis. Built on the same 1,800 VA custom transformer and 96,000 microfarads of capacitance as the Neo Monoblock, the Neo Stereo is rated at 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 500 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with a claimed capability of up to 1,000 watts per channel into lower impedances
Like its monoblock sibling, the Neo Stereo adopts a redesigned JFET based input architecture derived from the Momentum Z, dramatically lowering noise while increasing resolution and dynamic expressiveness. This new front end, combined with independently regulated input stages, yields a sound that is both more open and more controlled, with enhanced imaging and low level detail retrieval compared to earlier Progression amplifiers.
The Neo Stereo shares the Dual Domain Display concept, merging Dan D’Agostino’s signature analog meter with a modern digital information layer to present both musical level and operational parameters in an elegant, unified way. Ethernet based monitoring and integrated status display bring practical benefits for system owners and installers, while the refined, slightly more compact chassis broadens placement options without losing the sculptural presence expected from the brand.
