Overview
The Dan D’Agostino Momentum HD Preamplifier uses trickle down technology from the Relentless preamp.
It is a fully discrete, balanced line-stage design with a zero-feedback signal path. A discrete differential FET input stage uses two current sources per leg, electrically isolating the input stage from external circuit variables.
The power supply separates the audio and control circuits, and is housed in a separate chassis to isolate it from the audio circuitry.
Volume control uses a precision resistor network governed by an optical controller. The optical control system does not place the controller itself in the audio signal path; the control circuitry selects different resistor values to set attenuation.
A home theatre throughput (bypass) means that the preamp can integrate easily with a home theatre system.
The Bluetooth remote eliminates the limitations of conventional infrared control.
