The AVID Pellar Phono Stage offers audiophiles an entry-level solution without compromising on quality. Designed to accommodate both Moving Magnet (MM) and Moving Coil (MC) cartridges, it provides three gain settings—MM, MC Low, and MC High—ensuring compatibility with a wide range of phono cartridges. This flexibility allows users to optimize their vinyl playback experience, achieving sensational sound quality with ease.
Precision Engineering and Design
Incorporating high-specification components, the Pellar maintains exceptionally low noise levels and minimal distortion across the audio spectrum. The unbalanced design includes gold-plated RCA connections, with gain settings easily adjustable via switches on the underside of the unit. Additional rear-panel RCA connections allow for customized resistance loading using supplied plugs, enabling precise cartridge matching. The passive RIAA equalization circuit, featuring Neumann HF correction and high-end capacitors, ensures linear and accurate sound reproduction.
