AudioQuest Digital Coax cables are meticulously crafted to minimize distortion across an expansive bandwidth. However, concerning Digital Coax audio, speed is not solely about velocity, but rather about preserving the intricate time relationships within a digital stream. These time-based relationships are crucial for accurately reconstructing the analog waveform responsible for delivering information, music, and pleasure to our ears. Any disruption in these time-based relationships, commonly known as jitter, within the data package can result in compromised sound quality—rendering it lacking in dimensionality and depth, or causing it to sound abrasive and unclear instead of smooth and lucid.

SOLID PERFECT-SURFACE SILVER (PSS) CONDUCTORS

Solid conductors prevent electrical and magnetic strand-interaction. PSS Solid-Silver minimizes distortion caused by grain boundaries and maximizes linear RF Noise-Dissipation.

Because nitrogen (like air) does not absorb energy and therefore does not release any energy from or into the conductor, distortion is reduced. In addition, the stiffness of the material allows the cable's conductors to maintain a stable relationship along the cable's full length, producing a stable impedance character and further minimizing distortion.
