The use of optical fiber eliminates several types of degradation over long distances and requires no external AC adapter, powered directly through the HDMI port. Additionally, optical fibers provide complete RF immunity and galvanic isolation, essential for reducing radio-frequency noise. Unlike standard cables, optical fibers do not transmit or pick up induced RF noise. Furthermore, Root Beer's eARC and communication conductors are Direction-Controlled to minimize RF noise, enhancing active circuit performance.
