Audio Technica AT-VM760xSL Moving Magnet Cartridge
Audio Technica's VMx cartridge line features material and design updates that further improve the popular VM series. Including an improved coil design and a lightweight boron cantilever (instead of the standard aluminium) for better dynamics.
The AT-VM760xSL comes fitted with the flagship Special Line Contact stylus
Audio Technica's top-of-the-range Special Line Contact stylus is the same stylus fitted to their higher-end cartridges. It makes more vertical surface contact than any other stylus shape, giving it the highest fidelity.
It's a nude diamond rather than a diamond-tipped shank, which means it's more durable. It also has the VMx boron cantilever; boron has less than half the mass of aluminium, making the stylus extremely responsive to the groove.
