Since launching the “DP-80/DC-81” separate-type CD player in 1986, Accuphase has been engaged in research and development of digital playback technology for nearly 40 years, bringing numerous CD players to market.
The newly announced DP-470 is the successor to the DP-450, which was released in 2021. It has evolved to meet the needs of today’s digital audio environment, not only by delivering higher-quality CD playback but also through enhanced USB DAC functionality and a revised circuit design.
The DP-470 is a next-generation CD player that brings out the full appeal of CDs while allowing users to enjoy a wide variety of digital audio sources with high sound quality.

・Features the new RC-150 remote control, which offers improved usability

・The DAC device uses ESS's ES9026PRO and features the MDS+ system, which employs four circuits driven in parallel.
・Combined with Accuphase’s proprietary ANCC, it delivers high performance that rivals that of higher-end models.
