The new DG-78 is the successor of DG-68 digital voicing equalizer released in June 2020. Designed with the latest engineering techniques, it has been significantly upgraded in user interface and ADC/DAC  performance, making it an essential product for audio enthusiasts. 

User interface revamped; The display adopts electrostatic touch panel 
DG-78 features a redesigned user interface with warm-toned displays for enhanced visibility and more  intuitive operation. It also adopts a electrostatic type touch panel for the display device, replacing the  previous pressure-sensitive type. It offers excellent operability with the dedicated stylus pen or your finger,  proving effective for tasks like EQ curve settings. 

Featuring the latest high-performance devices 
By incorporating an ultra-high-speed DSP, we have maximized filter precision to the utmost limit. Furthermore, the DAC section features the ANCC circuit that cancels distortion and noise. Simultaneously, we have reviewed and optimized each circuit section to achieve peak performance. 

• 352.8kHz 32-bit A/D converter AKM AK5578EN used in 4 parallel channels per channel).
• ESS ES9028PRO used in 8 parallel channels per channel with MDS++. Features ANCC circuitry (same as DG-68).
• Analog Devices' SHARC ADSP21565KSWZ10 DSP enables native processing of input signals up to 384 kHz without down-sampling.
• Microphone A/D converter uses AKM's AK5357. While using the same IC as DG-68, the signal-to-noise ratio is improved by 1dB compared to DG-68.
