Accuphase C-57 Phono Equalizer Amplifier
Surpassing the mainstay and much loved C-47 phonostage is Accuphase's new C-57 phonostage equalizer amplifier. While the physical footprint is identical to it's predecessor the stated improvements suggest this model is miles ahead.
The Accuphase Noise and distortion Cancelling Circuit (ANCC) has been further refined and the input noise voltage is even lower, a new structure with slits in the top panel inner plate suppresses hum, allowing for rarely-surpassed clean MC playback.
60Ω (MC) option has been added to input load impedance selector, allowing for fine-tuning with low-impedance MC cartridges. Selectable from 10/30/60/100/200/300/1kΩ.
Low noise JFETs provide 20dB gain to the MM input.
The new custom made power transformer and filtering capacitor has been designed to provide a low noise but high regulation supply circuit, ever important when using more sensitive MC cartridges.
Following C-47's topology, the C-57 features a fully balanced configuration and monoblock construction for both input and output stages.
