Overview

Feature packed, but focused on fidelity, Technic's SL-100C turntable provides adjustability not often seen in this price-tier. 

RCA connectors (rather than hardwired output cables) allow you to personally fine-tune your system with interconnect cables of any brand, and tonearm VTA is easily adjustable and assisted by a numbered guide. The inclusion of a C13 kettle cord power input means that upgrade power cables can also be easily fitted. 

Direct drive technology has improved in leaps and bounds in recent years, and the SL-100C features a single-rotor, coreless direct drive motor that was originally designed for the SL-1200 and the high-end SL-1000R models.

Now a defining visual element of a Technics turntable, the static-balance universal S-shaped tonearm has been further refined with the same high-precision bearing, using the same gimbal suspension construction and machined housing, as the SL-1200 Series.

The included auto-lift function is often considered a negative for a hifi turntable, but thanks to suggestions from Technics customer base, it has been completely redesigned and is now fitted to the base of the tonearm, reducing it's impact. Negating the need for motor power means no electrical or vibrational additions to corrupt the audio signal. In a busy hifi shop the auto-lift function has saved more than one styli!
