Overview
A top loading, true redbook CD transport featuring the often sort after I²S digital output. It's rare to see I²S at this price point and we're glad to see more manufacturers including it in their designs.
Top loading is even less common at this price point, but is a well established technology aimed to maximise disc information retrieval. The unit includes a aluminium alloy magnetic clamp for stabilisation,
The compact footprint allows easy integration into an existing system without using up an entire rack space, and the brushed carbon fibre chassis presents smartly and doesn't look out of place when surrounded by other more premium hifi offerings.
The entirely aluminium remote control is nicely weighted and provides full control of the device from the listening position.
