Overview

High-performance cassette deck with improved operability and advanced functions.

Tape Memory
Stores calibration data (except azimuth) and settings like tape selector, playback equalizer (70 μs/120 μs), and Dolby NR. Saved data can be stored using the Tape Memory button.

RAMM (Random Access Music Memory)
Automatically or manually encodes track positions for up to 30 tracks, allowing programmed playback. Also stores playback equalizer and Dolby NR settings. The code signal uses low-frequency signals, ensuring no impact on playback sound.

Three-Head Configuration
Discrete heads for recording, playback, and erasing, ensuring accurate azimuth adjustments. Double capstan design ensures stable tape tension and eliminates spacing loss.

Mechanism and Chassis
Frequency-distributed double capstan for stable tape travel. Resonance-damped aluminum alloy chassis minimizes microvibrations and resonance. C-MOS logic tape control ensures soft contact with tapes and reduces power consumption.

Main Motor
PLL servo motor for precise rotational control, minimizing speed fluctuations.

Noise Reduction
Built-in Dolby B-type noise reduction, with external noise reduction capability via extra terminal.

LED Peak Level Meter
50 dB range (-40 dB to +10 dB) peak level display with peak hold for 6-7 seconds.

Digital Tape Counter
4-digit counter (0000 to 9999) with precise pulse detection and memory playback/stop.

Additional Features
Includes a queuing mechanism with two speed levels, RecMute function for silent recording, built-in 400 Hz test tone, timer recording/playback, and high-output headphone port.
