The KEF LS50 Meta is a passive High-Fidelity loudspeaker that features the industry-first Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). Designed to capture the full intensity of acoustic detail from the source, the KEF LS50 Meta doesn’t just play music, movies, and media - it creates an immersive multi-layered sonic environment. 

KEF LS50 Meta speakers feature a 12th Generation Uni-Q driver array inspired by the R Series, custom-engineered to complement the addition of MAT. This redesign of the driver array offers reduced colouration, less distortion, and a more even distribution of sound throughout the room. 

The LS50 Meta is a 2-way loudspeaker with bass reflex and has a frequency range of 47Hz - 45kHz.
