Overview
How do you balance simplicity with complexity? Clearaudio’s Balance Plus phono stage achieved this with ease, and now the new Balance V2 advances its technology without losing any of that equilibrium. Its design remains elegantly unfussy, and its operation effortlessly intuitive. Yet, the Balance V2 offers a range of options to adjust and fine-tune its performance to suit your system and preferences.
The sleek casing is crafted from precision-milled aluminium, also available in an anodized black finish. Along with standard RCA outputs, the Balance V2 includes balanced XLR outputs and a 6.3mm headphone jack. All RCA inputs and outputs are gold-plated for superior signal transmission.
In addition to manual volume control, you can switch between mute and automatic modes with the touch of a button. A simple toggle lets you choose between moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, and from there, the Balance V2 automatically optimizes for nearly any high-end phono cartridge without requiring further adjustments.
High-precision RIAA equalization achieves accuracy within 0.1 dB, and an optional subsonic filter attenuates unwanted low-frequency noise. A separate power supply, housed in its own aluminium casing, shields the unit from interference. This compact yet powerful package combines Clearaudio’s audiophile-grade technology with a simplicity that any music lover can appreciate. Just sit back and enjoy.
