Overview
The Linn Klimax Kontrol is a premium two-channel preamplifier for multi-amplifier and multi-channel audio systems, boasting a solid aluminium alloy construction with precision machining that provides a unique casing grain finish. The casing not only protects internal electronics but also acts as a heat exchanger for thermal management. Housed in a compact design, and enhanced by Linn's switch mode power supply to minimize electrical noise, the Klimax Kontrol offers both balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs. Internally it is comprised of four circuit boards, including an auto-ranging slimline power supply for the audio circuit, which keeps the audio signal path clean by isolating display and control boards.
