Overview
The POWERa MONO stands out as an exceptionally powerful fully-balanced amplifier, boasting an impressive capability of delivering a staggering 2100 watts into 8-ohm loads. Its prowess extends even further, with remarkable output figures reaching 3600 watts into 4 ohms and an astonishing 6000 watts into 2 ohms. This extraordinary performance is underpinned by the inclusion of twin 2.7 KVA toroidal power transformers and a custom capacitor bank totaling 210,000 microfarads. The substantial toroidal components contribute significantly to the MONO's weight, with each unit weighing in at 105kg. Despite being a mono amplifier, the POWERa MONO surprises with dual on/off switches linked to each transformer, and a third on/off switch dedicated to the built-in DC blocking circuit.
The robust precision-machined aluminum chassis of the POWERa MONO is reinforced by CMS (Critical Mass Systems) CS2 vibration control footers and equipped with high-quality components, including Audyn-CAP Intertechnik and Reference capacitors.
