Clearaudio Turntable Test Records and Speed Light Source
Various test records for Clearaudio turntables.
Trackability Test Record The Trackability provides information on the sampling characteristics of your tonearm / cartridge combination. The higher the value achieved, the better the relevant tonearm / cartridge combination is to scan difficult groove modulations without distortion. Amplitude accuracy +- 0.1 dB
Break In Test Record Phono cartridges usually need a running-in period to reach their full sonic potential. This can take anything from 40 to 100 hours, depending upon the manufacturer, design and construction of the phono cartridge. This Clearaudio Cartridge Break In Test Record is a unique tool. One of its features is to play an endless groove cut with pink noise, which significantly reduces the length of the break-in period.
Music Pickup Test Record Perfect recording quality without any sound manipulation is the feature of this LP. Selected music samples from the OPUS 3 – archive. Extreme requirements on your reproducing thread.
Turntable Test Record This Clearaudio test record can be used in conjunction with the ORTOFON TC 3000 measuring computer for testing pickups for records.
Stroboscope Test Record The tool to tune the optimal and exact speed of your turntable. The Stroboscopes break-in groove creates the additional stylus drag necessary to accurately measure the real-time speed of your turntable, and can also be used to break in new cartridges. For the best possible accuracy, use in combination with the "Speed Light Source" (below).
Speed Light Source Enables exact adjustment of your turntable speed by keeping the light source independent from fluctuations in the mains frequency and voltage, which would otherwise give distorted results. A quartz oscillator generates an accurate 300 Hz light source, making precise speed adjustment easy when used in conjunction with the Clearaudio Stroboscopic Test Record (above).
