Overview

Bel Canto's DAC3.7 offers full system control and a range of features, including an analog input. With a dedicated volume control, the DAC3.7 can also be used as a preamplifier. The Bel Canto Dual-Differential DAC3.7 Control Center boasts an impressive dynamic range of 126dB, along with Bel Canto's proprietary digital-to-analog converters. Equipped with five 24/192 digital inputs, high-speed ST fiber, and a 24/192 ADC analog input, the DAC3.7 manages all your audio sources, including an analog input for a phono preamplifier or home theater bypass. The front panel features a multifunctional control knob for input selection and volume control for both the "main source" and the front panel headphone jack. The dedicated DAC/amplifier for the headphone jack optimizes the signal path. A clear and user-friendly display allows you to check balance, phase, rename inputs, and turn off unused inputs. At the core of the DAC3.7 is the 'jitter-elimination' Master Reference Ultra-Clock circuitry, reducing jitter from all sources below the audible limit. The 24-bit digital volume control maintains transparency and accuracy throughout its range. Custom 0.1% audio quality resistors, Class-A output circuitry, and a low-noise power supply care housed in a rugged all-steel chassis to prevent mechanical resonance. The internal VB supply, powered by the Bel Canto VBL1 virtual battery supply, features 400,000 uF of filter capacitance and ultra-low noise isolated switching for the analog section, preventing current distortion in the sensitive signal path.
